Free Webinar: Solving The CCS Charging Interoperability Challenge
Understanding Interoperability Problems in Order to Solve Them
(May 30, 2024)
Despite the massive build-out of Combined Charging System (CCS) charging stations, interoperability issues persist. Over 25% of attempted DC-Fast Charging sessions fail due to communication problems, hardware issues, or protocol exchange problems. The current practice for solving these issues involves physically testing EVs and charging stations together, which is expensive and hard to scale.
On May 30th, QualityLogic hosted a free webinar where we explored these challenges and our solution related to EV charging interoperability.

- Introducing a New Tool Class: CCS Charging Session Analyzer
- Analyzing charging session traffic
- The QualityLogic CCS Charging Session Analyzer
- Demonstration and Case Studies
Analyzing charging sessions to understand interoperability issues (as well as other characteristics such as timings of the various aspects of a charging session) has traditionally required an expert in the CCS protocols and the sophisticated test tools available today. This webinar replay provides insights into the process of analyzing charging sessions and introduces a new class of test tools to help this process.
