As a leader in standardizing V2G in the US, we are working with both the utility and the EV ecosystems. Historically, the EV community has not had to understand or deal with the electric utility world and vice versa. But to realize the potential of V2G, these two eco-systems have to understand each other and interoperate using standardized messaging communications. The key to the integration of EVs into grid operations is IEEE 1547.
