QualityLogic Announces PageSense 7.1
QualityLogic (www.qualitylogic.com) today announced PageSense 7.1, the newest version of its printer and multifunction peripheral (MFP) performance measurement test tool. Manufacturers and industry publications use PageSense to obtain standardized test results and accurately compare the throughput performance of printers and MFPs. PageSense uses test files from popular applications to perform throughput performance testing of printing, copying, faxing and scanning functions.
PageSense 7.1, which is now shipping, supports Windows 7 and includes test files for 22 popular applications, including the Microsoft Office 2010 suite, Adobe Creative Suite 4 products, and more. This summer, QualityLogic will release application test files for new Adobe CS5 applications and Acrobat 10.
PageSense 7.1 features performance measurement support for duplexers that flip the page externally, as well as those that perform duplexing internally. Another new feature, stand-alone paper sensor support, allows users to integrate the sensor into their own software and measure paper sensor events.
“We are pleased to continue to expand PageSense to include the latest applications and enhanced duplex support,” said Steve Kang, General Manager of QualityLogic Products Group. “PageSense 7.1 makes it easier than ever for companies to automate performance testing.”
For customers who need access to legacy applications, QualityLogic continues to offer the previous version of PageSense, v6.2.
