QualityLogic Releases PageSense 6.2
QualityLogic (www.qualitylogic.com) has released PageSense 6.2, the newest version of its printer and multifunction peripheral performance test tool. PageSense 6.2 now supports new ISO standards for measuring printer and digital copier productivity – ISO 24734 and ISO 24735. New versions of Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4, InDesign CS4 and Acrobat 9, and QuarkXPress 8 are also supported by PageSense 6.2.
PageSense 6.2 supports all ISO 24734 and 24735 test files, summary/full reports and automation framework. ISO has defined three different test suites/categories for printers – Office, Advertising and Graphics, and Feature Performance – using Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint based test pages. The digital copier test consists of one four-page Acrobat file from the Office category. Test scripts have been provided for all of these test files in PageSense 6.2.
PageSense generates ISO-style test reports via an ISO Report option. When the ISO Report option is selected, PageSense generates ISO 24734/24735-style reports only if the test data meet the ISO criteria. If the criteria are not met, the test must be repeated as outlined in the ISO standards before an ISO Report can be generated.

PageSense 6.2 uses test files for 35 applications from Adobe, Corel, Microsoft and others to perform throughout performance testing of printing, copying, faxing and scanning functions.
